Fresh stART

Fresh stART is our open-studio art therapy program that provides a space for creativity, community, and self-expression for our Day Shelter guests. This program happens Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9am-11am at our Day Shelter, providing people experiencing and transitioning out of homelessness with a supportive environment for creating art. Whether its paintings, jewelry, 3D art, mixed-media art, or another medium, guests also have the opportunity to sell their artwork in the community and receive proceeds from their sales.

Throughout the year, we host various Fresh stART Art Shows at our WestTown Resource Campus or at places like DNA Galleries and Plaza Festival where community members can purchase art created by our guests. When you purchase artwork from one of these shows, you're putting money directly into the pockets of artists and helping sustain this program. Check below for our upcoming Fresh stART Art Shows!
