Where to donate gently-used goods in OKC
We are grateful to receive many donations of items from the public, but we aren't able to take everything. We hope this list can help you find a nonprofit that can give your things a new home.
Donate Clothing
At the Homeless Alliance, we only have the space to store the clothing items that are requested most by our Day Shelter guests, which include adult-sized sneakers, men’s t-shirts and sweatshirts, men’s and women’s coats, bras, and men’s and women’s jeans. We do not take dress clothes or children’s clothing. Most items can be gently used but should be clean and without stains or tears. Underwear and socks must be new and in package.
These nonprofits all give away clothing for free to those in need. (A few of them will charge for items unless you meet certain criteria, such as having a referral from a partner agency.) Their hours and needs may change, so we strongly recommend that you check their website or call before bringing your donations.
